Based on the traditions of LENORMAND, a centuries-old form of divination, BLACK CAT ORACLE CARDS are the original creation of artist Christopher Gendron. Each of the evocative pen and ink drawings leads us into the magical realm of mystery and revelation. Our guide for this journey is the BLACK CAT, a creature of enigma and allure.
As the companion of a very special black cat called Max, Christopher also honors Max’s memory by invoking her presence in the creation of this deck. As a way to keep the card faces looking more traditional and Old World, each card was hand painted with pen and ink.

The 30 page instructional booklet covers the history of Lenormand, keywords and descriptions for all 36 cards, how to do a 2 card and 3 card reading, with full examples and explanations, and additional resources to further your knowledge in the world of Lenormand. All content is written by Juniper Talbot, a professional card reader with over 30 years experience.
About the Creators
Juniper Talbot is a witch, a writer and a psychic who works with many divination systems. These include tarot, ogam, dream work and other forms of cartomancy. She has been a professional tarot reader and teacher since the mid 1980’s. Juniper lives in the hills of western Massachusetts with her cats. Christopher Gendron (ARTmuffin) is a visionary artist living in Western Massachusetts. His work is mystical and mysterious by nature and often presents the viewer with more questions than answers. The power and mysticism of cartomancy has always been alluring for the artist. Upon the discovery of the Lenormand divination system he was inspired to create his own version of the cards with the curious, clever, and always magical Black Cat.
